Professional Network Services nformative™ Managed Service program includes a wide range of services, from remote network monitoring, to supplemental support, to comprehensive support agreements. From our Network Optimization Center (NOC), we offer you the peace of mind that your network is proactively monitored and maintained. We define our working relationship through a “Service Level Overview” (SLO) to ensure we understand and exceed your business expectations.


Professional Network Services believes that the “reactive,” “project only” oriented Network Integrator model is outdated. PNS also believes that the “proactive” model of providing a better approach to “IT” services to our clients is at hand. Businesses need to know before a problem occurs, allowing it to be resolved, thus minimizing any potential service outages.


Professional Network Services will leverage our nformative™ Managed Services monitoring offering to observe the stability and performance of identified Key Network Elements “KNE” at a glance through a web based interface. PNS leverages the easy to use rules based notification system to automatically send alerts via email or pager if critical events (defined by the Client and PNS) occur, allowing PNS or the Client to proactively respond. PNS Technical Account Executive will review the information gathered by nformative TM and provide recommendations to ensure critical systems are available when needed every six months.

Our Monitoring package provides your business with the peace of mind of 24 X 7 network monitoring at a fraction of the cost of most large enterprise solutions. nformative™ Monitoring is a web-based application that monitors the availability of Key Network Elements (KNE’s) and notifies your staff via e-mail, Short Message Service (SMS) or pager in the event of failed Key Network Element (KNE). Examples of Key Network Elements are switches, servers, or routers, along with other mission-critical devices. In addition, nformative™ Monitoring can provide detailed performance reporting for capacity planning and predictive analysis, including role-based views for both business and technical users alike as required.

The services provided in our Monitoring offering include:

Professional Network Services has found that in the Small Medium Business (SMB) market from 5 to up to 100 nodes there is a need to provide an IT presence that is affordable to the end user. PNS has bundled cost effective Monitoring options to meet your business needs. The Monitoring suite of offerings includes Basic, Basic Plus, Metrics Reporting, and custom plans tailored to meet our clients needs.

The Basic package provides small and medium sized businesses with the peace of mind of 24 x 7 network monitoring at a fraction of the cost of most large enterprise solutions. nformative™ is a Web-based application that monitors the availability of devices and applications and notifies via e-mail or pager in the event Key Network Elements (KNE’s) exceed predetermined thresholds, KNE’s can be switches, servers, routers along with other mission critical devices.

  • 24 X 7 remote network monitoring, with PNS response M – F from 8 am to 5 pm.
  • Availability and status notifications.
  • Systems Engineer available upon clients request at a discounted rate structure.
  • Preferred scheduling and on-site support.

 



Basic + *** Top of Page

The Basic+ package includes Network support from the PNS Technical Support Desk in addition to monitoring. There will be no additional charge to the client for any network related issues, which a PNS System Engineer can resolve remotely. PNS will call the customer to authorize a dispatch of a PNS System Engineer in the event a network related issue could not be resolved remotely.

Services include:

24 X 7 remote network monitoring, with PNS response M – F from 8 am to 5 pm.

Systems Engineer available upon clients request at a discounted rate structure.

Unlimited remote technical support available during normal business hours.

Preferred scheduling and on-site support.

Metrics Reporting ***

Professional Network Services believes that one of the intrinsic values provided by the nformative™ solution is its ability to report on historical data. PNS will provide a monthly report emailed directly to the client of the key metrics monitored for the previous month. PNS will provide Performance Reporting with a PNS Technical Account Executive every six months to review your network environment and make recommendations based on the key metric data collected.

Services include:

Monthly Metrics report emailed directly to the client.

Performance Reporting review every six months with a PNS Technical Account Executive.

Professional Network Services can tailor a custom solution that includes scheduled monthly on-site support by a PNS System Engineer in conjunction with our nformative™ solution.

Services include:

  • 24 X 7 remote network monitoring, with PNS response M – F from 8 am to 5 pm.

  • PNS System Engineer scheduled for proactive on-site network support.

  • Systems Engineer available upon clients request at a discounted rate structure.

  • Unlimited remote technical support available during normal business hours

  • Escalation within 2 hours of detection

  • Network assessment document of your environment each year
